Loading Factor
The percentage added to carpet area to reach super built-up area.
The loading factor is the proportion of common-area allocation added to a unit's carpet area to arrive at its super built-up area. A loading factor of 30 percent means the super built-up area is 1.3 times the carpet area. Loading varies between projects, which is why comparing prices on super built-up area can mislead.
