How the Trust Score™ is computed

An opinion, framed as an opinion — our assessment of a builder based on disclosed and public data. This page sets out the factors, the weights, the data sources, and the consent rules that govern when a score may be published.

What the Trust Score is — and is not

The Propvidhi Trust Score™ is our considered assessment of a builder, expressed as a number out of 100 and stated as an opinion: “Propvidhi's assessment, based on the disclosed data, is X out of 100.” It is not a statement of fact that a builder is reliable or unreliable.

Propvidhi takes zero money from builders to rank them. A score cannot be bought, and paid tiers never change an assessment.

The formula and weights

The score is a weighted sum of five factors. Each factor is assessed from the sources listed, normalised to 0–100, and combined by weight:

Consent, and the right of reply

A numeric Trust Score is published only for builders who participate on Propvidhi and who hold a right of reply. Before any score is published, the builder is shown the assessment and the data behind it, and may respond. The response is published alongside the score.

For a builder who has not joined Propvidhi, we publish no number. We show only the public RERA record — registration status and number — and note that the builder has been invited to respond.

On-platform vs off-platform

Builder typeWhat we publish
On-platform (consented)Numeric Trust Score, factor notes, methodology link, last-updated date, trend, and the builder's response.
Off-platform (not consented)Public RERA status and number only. No numeric score. A note that the builder is invited to respond.

Last updated & corrections

Every builder page carries a last-updated date. A builder may request a correction or exercise their right of reply at any time; we review and update the record. The methodology itself is versioned on this page.
