Delete your account and data

Option 1 — In the app (fastest). Open the Propvidhi app, go to Profile → Settings → Privacy & Data, and choose Request account erasure. You will be asked to confirm; once confirmed, your erasure request is recorded and processed.

Option 2 — By email. Write to grievance@propvidhi.com from the email or with the phone number registered on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before we proceed, to protect you from someone else deleting your data.

When your request is processed, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the personal data tied to your account, including:

• Your profile and contact details (name, phone number, email).
• Documents you uploaded (KYC and property documents).
• Saved searches, shortlists, preferences, and app activity.
• Your consent records and marketing preferences.
• Site-visit and enquiry history that identifies you.

Some records cannot be deleted immediately because Indian law requires us to retain them. Where we keep them, we hold them in a restricted, minimised form and use them only for the legal purpose:

• Transaction & financial records — completed bookings, payments, commissions, and invoices — retained for the period required under tax, accounting, and company law, then anonymised.
• Compliance records — data we are required to keep under RERA or to resolve a dispute, fraud, or legal claim.

These retained records are de-linked from your active profile and are not used to contact you or for any new processing.

We respond to data-principal grievances within 30 days. In most cases erasure of your active personal data is completed well within that window. Records we are legally required to retain are deleted or anonymised at the end of their statutory retention period.
